Tariffly is built by Meraki Vale Group, a small founder-led group that builds practical AI tools for businesses that move physical goods.
Why customs paperwork
World trade still runs on PDFs and email. A small brokerage might clear hundreds of shipments a month, and for each one someone reads the invoice, retypes it, looks up the tariff code for every line and checks it against the packing list by eye.
That work is careful, repetitive and easy to get wrong when the queue is long. New AI models can now read trade documents reliably and explain their reasoning, which makes it possible to hand the first draft to software and keep the judgement with people.
How we build
We build with brokers, not around them. Every feature starts from a real shipment file and ends with a reviewer’s approval. If something would make the draft faster but the decision less clear, we leave it out.
