What Tariffly does, and doesn’t
Tariffly is software that drafts customs paperwork. It extracts data from documents, suggests Harmonized System classifications and points out inconsistencies. It does not give customs, tax or legal advice, and it does not lodge anything with any customs authority.
All suggestions are drafts. You and your licensed staff are responsible for checking every classification, value, origin and declaration before you rely on it or submit it, and for following the laws of the countries you trade with.
Your account
Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. The workspace owner is responsible for who they invite and what role each person has.
Your content
You keep all rights to the documents and data you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the right to upload them.
Acceptable use
Do not use Tariffly to break the law, evade duties or sanctions, misdescribe goods, upload malware, or try to access other workspaces. We may suspend workspaces that do.
Plans and payment
The pilot is free for 14 days and 25 shipments. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid month. Fees are not refunded for partial months unless the law requires it.
Availability
We work to keep Tariffly available and accurate but provide it “as is”. AI output can be wrong. Keep your own copies of important documents.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for penalties, duties or delays that result from relying on a draft without checking it. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
